The doctor was a Colorado Springs NASA research associate in 1974-1976 at Hydrogardens, Inc. He graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in 1980. The doctor was certified in acupuncture in 1992. He graduated from the Han Tang School of Acupuncture (2001) where he was the anatomy and physiology instructor and certified by NCCAOM in 2005.He has held licenses in California and Florida.

Dr. Peterson provides traditional Chinese medicinal teas, powders and pills. Acupuncture techniques include Korean Constitutional, Five Element, Dr. Tan’s Balance Method, and Auricular (ear) Medicine that uses seeds instead of needles. All needles are sterile and disposable. Chinese pulse diagnosis, observation of the tongue color and shape are performed to detect pending medical conditions.

Dr. Peterson is a formulation developer and lecturer for Progressive Laboratories, a provider of supplements to health care professionals. He is twice certified by the University of Colorado Pharmacy School in Botanical Medicine .He has been the science writer for 15,ooo subscribers of the California Journal of Oriental Medicine for 6 years and is published in 11 consecutive issues.
